Craig says the room was crafted with precision to cater to the needs of a concert pianist, its dimensions have been thoughtfully aligned with the golden ratio, imparting a rare and captivating natural acoustic quality seldom found in retrofit spaces.
Building on his vast experience in cutting-edge high-resolution recordings, Craig has meticulously installed custom, high-quality network cabling throughout the building, connecting his state-of-the-art DSD based system from Merging Technology with a combination of the Merging Hours and Anubis providing the pristine preamps, audio conversion, routing and monitoring. Elkwood also runs your standard DAWs but its focus is on the Pyramix system for its sonic fidelity and feature set that make it uniquely positioned in the studio.
